High Performance Standards

“What have you done for me lately?” was a popular dance/pop song released by Janet Jackson in 1986. It’s kind of a catchy tune that I have caught myself humming to. However, it makes me ponder what have we done for YOU lately as a co-op member?

At the co-op, we have high performance standards. Our goal is to provide you – our members – with the highest level of service at the lowest possible price. That’s not an easy feat to accomplish in the current economic climate, but that’s our objective.

Historically, if you look at the price per kilowatt-hour we bill you, it has only increased 1.4% annually over the past 15 years. That’s amazing! However, we’re not going to rest on our laurels because of that! We will continue to fight for you daily to keep those prices down. As a not-for-profit business, we are not driven by high margins and profit. We work to cover costs and return any margins back to you – our member – in the form of capital credits.

The same high-performance standards are followed at Connect2First. Our objective is to provide you with the best high-speed, fiber-optic internet and phone service to your homes and businesses at a reasonable price. We’re not an investor-owned or publicly traded company. Our roots are deep and local. Our employees live here, and many are members just like you!

Since you don’t have to be sick to get better, we put our shoulder to the load and keep our eye on the future to develop products and services that make quality of life better.
