After years in corporate America, Christine Freeman chose to pursue a passion she’s had since childhood, baking. In 2023, she took a leap of faith and built an in-home bakery in the heart of Saline County, where she is proud to be a member served by First Electric Cooperative.
High school juniors may apply for the Youth Tour each year. Selected delegates will be taking this trip of a lifetime to Washington, D.C., in the summer of 2026.
Applications are now open from Feb 1 - Mar 6, 2026
*High School Junior applicants must have their primary residence served by First Electric Cooperative.
First Electric Cooperative must receive the application by March 6, 2026.
First Electric Cooperative selected Addison Warford, Emma Keller, Kaitlyn Carmical and Rocky Knight to represent the co-op on the 2025 Youth Tour, an all-expenses-paid educational trip to Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. The group explored the nation’s capital June 14-20, 2025, with delegates from the other Arkansas electric cooperatives.
