Since 1998, that small gesture has added up to more than $1.7 million supporting local nonprofits and opening doors for students through scholarships.
High school juniors may apply for the Youth Tour each year. Applications for the 2026 Youth Tour will be available on this page beginning February 1, 2026. Selected delegates will be taking this trip of a lifetime to Washington, D.C., in the summer of 2026.
First Electric Cooperative selected Addison Warford, Emma Keller, Kaitlyn Carmical and Rocky Knight to represent the co-op on the 2025 Youth Tour, an all-expenses-paid educational trip to Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. The group explored the nation’s capital June 14-20, 2025, with delegates from the other Arkansas electric cooperatives.
