Youth Tour Delegates Selected

First Electric has selected four delegates to represent the co-op on the 2022 Youth Tour, an all expenses-paid educational trip to Washington, D.C.
Ashton Burgess of Perryville, Eli Coleman of Sherwood, John Kirby of Cabot, and Carrington Thompson of Humphrey will explore the nation’s capital June 17-23 with delegates from the other Arkansas electric cooperatives.
The group will join 1,500 students from across the United States in the nation’s capital. During the trip, they’ll learn about electric cooperatives; tour historic sites, monuments and museums; and meet members of the Arkansas congressional delegation.
High school juniors may apply for the Youth Tour each year. Applications for the 2023 Youth Tour will be available Feb. 1, 2023 on our website, at co-op offices and in high school counselors’ offices.
