What is the Co-op Connections Card program?
The Co-op Connections card program is a member discount program for First Electric Cooperative Members and Members of Touchstone Energy electric co-ops throughout the nation. This means that in addition to those from First Electric, cooperative Members throughout the nation carrying the Co-op Connections card will be able to use their card at your business - a great way for you to reach travelers!

Why should my business participate?
The Co-op Connections card program is an easy and cost-effective way for your business to reach customers in your local area, throughout the state and those traveling from other states.

  • No out-of-pocket advertising expense with our program.
  • Simply commit to a discount offer and agree to accept the Co-op Connections card.
  • Receive a free listing on our web site and more.

When will the program start?
Business recruitment started in August 2010, and we can add businesses at any time. We'll launch the program on October 1, 2010, and at that point, each First Electric Cooperative member household will receive one wallet card and two key cards.

Is there a charge?
There is no membership fee to your business - it is FREE to enroll. Your business is responsible for the discount offer you want to provide - we do the rest, including listing your business on our web site!

How do I enroll?
Simply fill out the business contract and return by mail to Marketing & Communications, First Electric Cooperative, PO Box 5018, Jacksonville, AR 72078. If it's easier, fax the contract to 1-501-985-4587.

Who is First Electric Cooperative?
First Electric Cooperative is a member-owned electric utility that has been in business since 1937. We provide more than 86,000 homes and businesses with electricity in parts of 17 counties in central and southeast Arkansas.  In addition to electricity, we offer various services and programs to benefit our Members.  The Co-op Connections card is one more way First Electric is bringing added value to its Members.
