Co-op Connections Card Saves Members Money

In addition to valuable prescription savings and discounts at local businesses, First Electric members now can use their Co-op Connections Card to get discounts for chiropractic, dental and vision care as well as lab work and hearing aids.

Members may find a list of health discounts and locate participating providers at For example, Humana Dental Access offers discounts of up to 40 percent on most services at some 100,000 providers nationwide. Coast to Coast Vision enables members to save on eyewear at national chains, including LensCrafters and Target. The card also provides members discounts for contact lenses and laser eye surgery.

A new version of the card is needed to get the new Co-op Connections Healthy Savings discounts. First Electric members may get a new card by clicking on the "Print My Card" button at Members also may call 800-489-7405 or visit one of the First Electric offices in Benton, Heber Springs, Jacksonville, Perryville or Stuttgart for assistance.

The Co-op Connections Card is not insurance, and there are no health restrictions or paperwork. Members can use the card immediately and as many times as needed. Simply present the card to a participating provider and receive a discount at the time of purchase.

The card is good anywhere you see the Co-op Connections Card logo. First Electric recruits local businesses – restaurants, auto shops, hair salons, fitness centers, florists, jewelers, cleaners and more – to offer discounts to our 70,000 members. Also, Touchstone Energy, a national alliance of more than 600 electric cooperatives, has recruited more than 100 national chains, such as Avis Car Rental, Barnes &, Omaha Steaks and others, to offer cooperative members national discounts.
